KynNote Terms & Conditions

1. Acceptance & Eligibility
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of KynNote, our CRM web and mobile application, and our website at https://kynnote.ai (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. We do not verify age; by using the Service, you confirm that you are 18 or older. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to bind that organization to these Terms.
2. The Service
KynNote lets you build and manage contacts, capture notes (typed, voice, and scanned business cards), and create and manage meetings. We may add, change, or remove features from time to time.
3. Accounts & Registration
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly at support@kynnote.ai of any unauthorized use.
4. Subscriptions, Plans & Billing
- Free trial: We offer a 30-day free trial. After the trial ends, the applicable paid plan applies unless you cancel.
- Plans and pricing: The plan and price applicable to you are the plan and price shown at the time of purchase or on our pricing page, which may be updated from time to time.
- Currency: Fees are billed in INR for users in India and in USD for users outside India.
- Renewals: Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual) unless you cancel before the renewal date.
- Cancellation: You may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- Refunds: Fees already paid for the current billing period are non-refundable.
- Payment processing: Payments are processed by third-party payment processors. By providing payment details, you authorize us and our processors to charge the applicable fees.
- Taxes: Fees are exclusive of taxes unless stated otherwise; you are responsible for applicable taxes. [PLACEHOLDER: tax handling details, e.g. GST/sales tax treatment]
5. Your Content & Ownership
You retain all ownership rights in the contacts, notes, meetings, images, audio, and other content you submit to the Service ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, process, transmit, and display Your Content solely as necessary to operate, maintain, and provide the Service to you. This license ends when Your Content is deleted, subject to retention required by law.
You are responsible for Your Content and for ensuring you have all necessary rights and lawful bases to submit it, including any personal data about third parties (such as contacts and meeting attendees).
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service in violation of any applicable law or third-party rights;
- Upload unlawful, infringing, or harmful content;
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or interfere with its operation or security;
- Reverse engineer, copy, or resell the Service except as permitted by law;
- Use the Service to send unsolicited communications in violation of applicable law.
7. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its software, design, and trademarks, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the rights expressly granted to you, no rights are transferred. You may not use our trademarks without our prior written consent.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that speech-recognition, scanning, or other automated features will be accurate. To the extent any warranty cannot be excluded by law, it is limited to the minimum permitted.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, revenue, or business, arising out of or relating to the Service. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will not exceed [PLACEHOLDER: liability cap, e.g. amounts paid by you in the 12 months before the claim]. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. Indemnification

11. Suspension & Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the Service or other users. You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends. We will delete personal data as described in our Privacy Policy, subject to legal retention requirements.
12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
For users in India, these Terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. For users in the United States, these Terms are governed by the laws applicable in Dallas, Texas, USA, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Dallas, Texas, USA. 13. Dispute Resolution
If you have a dispute with us, please contact us first at support@kynnote.ai so we can try to resolve it informally. If the dispute cannot be resolved informally, it will be resolved by the competent courts identified in "Governing Law & Jurisdiction" above. 14. Changes to These Terms
